Hi Max,

It’s cool to hear from you. Yes, I’m really keen to do an apprenticeship, but I don’t know exactly which direction I want to go in yet. Do you have any tips?

Talk to our Managing Director Faru Fakrou about it. We have various options. There’s sure to be the right one for you. See you soon 😉

Nice, then I’ll get in touch with you today.

Meet Jonas and Max

Hi, I’m Jonas.

I completed my apprenticeship at T&B in July and started as a service technician. Even during my apprenticeship, I loved being out with customers – that’s why the job fits perfectly.

I wouldn’t want to do mindless routine work. I like the job here because it’s really varied.

Every day, every customer, every system is different.

The working atmosphere is also great. At T&B, you’re not a number like in a giant store, you know everyone personally.

Once you’ve been with someone for a week, you know a lot about them. What he’s like at work and what makes him tick in his private life. This makes the interaction very familiar.

Of all the training courses in electrical engineering/electronics, that for electronics technicians for industrial engineering is one of the broadest.

Some say you learn a bit of everything, but nothing really. The fact is that you get a great overview of many areas. I found that ideal. I was able to try out what I was most interested in at my leisure.

I had never heard of fire protection for industrial plants before. But I’ve always been interested in technology, especially new developments. And that’s exactly what I found in this industry.

I’m Max and I started at T&B when I was 16,

I first had a mini-job here as a student because I always wanted to work in a technical profession. I then completed my internship here and then trained as an electronics technician.

I thought it was good that you can test your own strengths at T&B and develop yourself further. If you are clever and willing, you are taken seriously and given an insight into many areas.

Based on this experience, I decided to go into sales. I was interested in developing suitable solutions for the various applications with the customer and with our project planning department.

Immediately after my training in summer 2022, I joined the sales team for the North East region. I work from Alfeld, but also travel to customers.

My work is very varied. I meet very different personalities at the customer sites and there is always something new in the projects. And I also present T&B at trade fairs at home and abroad.

I really enjoy coming to work. We’re a relatively young team, so I’ve been part of it right from the start.

And we also do a lot together outside of work. That could be an evening in the beer garden, our summer party or the Christmas party. Or we might fire up the barbecue at lunchtime because all the service technicians are in the building for training.

These are not stiff corporate events. The relaxed atmosphere is simply great fun.
